i7-4790k Overclocking CPU Cache help

It's pretty much as the title describes.

My CPU has two settings.

1. 4.6GHz at 1,22V ran stable for 8h in Prime95

2. 4,7GHz at 1,23V ran stable for 12h in Prime95.

However, option 2 crashed on me several times today when i was playing a game after 15-25 min into the game. So i simply increased the voltage to 1,24V and was able to play the game for over 30 min with no crashes.

The CPU Cache rate is on auto but should i start playing with the CPU cache or leave it on Auto and stress test again with Prime95?

If you bumped to voltage up a bit and didnt have issue in game you can run prime again or realbench is what i like. Or just leave it on 4.6

I did bump the 4.7GHz voltage from 1,23V to 1,24V and didn't have a problem with the game. However, i only ran the game for 30 min and stopped shortly after since i got bored.

Should i bother changing the CPU cache or leave it on auto?
If I should change it, what value should i use?

So i ran a stress test on realbench overnight and once i woke up, the pc restarted.
I'm assuming that the OC wasn't stable, is there a crash log or error log on realbench?

That's kinda vague, i can't find it on realbench.
Or are you referring to Event Viewer on windows?

On windows your computer is unstable so your overclock is no good or check your power supply thats an important part for overclocking

I don't use event viewer, so i don't know what to look for or where to look for to begin with.
I have a 630W PSU, i even checked how much power i needed with everything OC'ed and it wasn't even close to 600W.
My pc took max 500W with everything OC'ed.

Diferent manufacturers make less quality psu's you need a high quality psu for ocing

I know how to locate event viewer, but not the log itself that you are looking for.

look at the time of crash. Im not sure that is important you oc isnt going to work so you are wating your time
