Just wondering that when i am playing csgo is it very bad that my temp are around 80C-84C ( not all the time). i am currently using the stock because i dont have money right now ;P. but its only csgo because bf4 is 75C-77C.
For long life, I like a cooler to keep my CPU under 70C. 90C should be a hard limit. Your CPU will begin throttling itself at 95C and will shutdown around 110C.
So, considering your budget and temporary nature of your temperature excursions, you should be ok. Of course keep an eye on it and get a cooler when you can.

It's crazy the temps i've been seeing everyone is getting. I max out 43C prime95 with voltage set to 1.5v at 5.1 ghz. i guess new chips are hotter then sandy bridge chips
if your talking about me yah at full load, i do have a custom built liquid cooling set up i made lol. its dirty as hell in my case lots of moving stuff around. when i get my new case soon i am redoing my lines and organizing it. https://s30.postimg.org/9nd23tb41/20161015_103822.jpg
