Hi guys, i'm planning to upgrade my actual i7 4790K to switch to a Ryzen 5 2600 but, worth it?

I'm asking this because i see the R5 2600 temps are lower with stock cooler than my 4790K temps using NZXT Kraken x31, and the power usage of the R5 2600 is lower too

I use my PC for gaming (BFV, BF1, etc) and sometimes i do another things like rendering videos, etc...

These are the components of my PC

MoBo: Asrock Fatal1ty Z97x Killer LGA 1150
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (4x4GB) 2400Mhz DDR3
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X31
Case: Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass
SSD: Crucial MX300 275GB
HDD: Western Digital Green 2TB 5400RPM

I will glad to see your answers

Solution
Just get a new gpu and overclock your current CPU, it's simply not a good upgrade. I'd even wait for ryzen 3, it won't be long and the new chips are apparently boosting to 5.1 Ghz on the high end. So for a but the same price you'll be paying for that 2600 you should see a boost of 4.6 or 4.7.
