i7-4790k z170 chipset DDR4 HELP

This is my first time posting on this website, however I need help.

I just bought:
MSI Z170A-Gaming Pro Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB Memory
i7-4790k

Will this even work?
If so, to what extent?
Will there be a shorter life span?
Will the computer even start up?
What are the limitations to this?

This is my first computer build, Im only coming to this news that the i7-4790k isnt compatible with DDR4, and Im a bit upset. Please answer ASAP D:

Actually your CPU is LGA 1150, and Z170 = LGA 1151, so you cannot put them together.

Z170A compatible with LGA 1151 (Skylake type) I7 - 6700k (example)

The computer wont start up.

Return the 4790K and get a 6700K, the alternative is to return the mobo and DRAM (assuming it's the DDR4 LPX) and get a Z97 mobo and some DDR3
