I am building a computer for gaming. My old rig is old and is not strong enough to compete with the graphically intensive games this year, so I am buying a new rig (customizing it). And I am stuck on these 2 CPU's and an Intel® Core™ i7-4820K Quad-Core 3.70 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011 (All Venom OC Certified) or an Intel® Core™ i7-4770K 3.50 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150 (All Venom OC Certified). My Budget is very high :p, so I am trying to get the best performance for gaming (fps wise) with a Nvidia GTX 780 Ti 3GB. I would appreciate any help from you guys. :D

Note: Also I might be making some videos with Sony Vegas 13 and DXTory (video editing), if my CPU affect's making/recording videos (for YouTube).

-Thanks ;D

Ive always wanted an "E" system so Id probably go with the 4820 just for the "it would be cool to have one" factor. It might also be a little more fun to overclock as well since IB is a little better overclocker than Haswell.

But the 4820 is last generation's architecture and Haswell does have the IPC advantage albeit only around 5%, so if the "just for fun" factor doesnt mean that much to you, Id get the 4970K (basically the same price as the 4770K and a slightly better overclocker).
