hello guys i got a new god damn good pc
i7 5820k
gtx 980 msi
corssair h105
msi gaming 7 x99
16gb gskill rpjawsx @2400
RM750 80+ fully modular psu

i managed to overclock the cpu to 4.4ghz at 1.235v and ran AIDA64 and asus stress test for 20 min and nothing happened with max temp of 70c is that good ? i just put x44 multiplier and raise the vcore. did i win the silicon lottery

You can check out average reported overclocks for your processor here. But yes 4.4 is pretty much the average overclock and if you are at only 70c on a stress test you could potentially push even higher if you wanted.

I'm at 4.35GHz at 1.288v with the MSI Gaming 9 board. dose the extra 4 ping cpu connector improve voltages? BTW the 60c was under F@H full load.
