Does anyone had any similar experiences like this and do you have a way to fix this. This idle temp means that when I play games i usually get around 90 oc, creating unbearable lag and slowing down my pc so much that it is hard to even use it properly, it is even lagging while I write this. I have recently reapplied the the thermal paste in an attempt to fix it, but it hanst worked. I am sure that i have applied the paste corerectly as I followed the video step by step Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I am struugling to use my pc as the lag is unbearable.

Have you tried to OC the system at all or done any tinkering in the BIOS at all? I ask because you have a K series CPU and a water cooler. If you have inadvertently applied an overclock that the system is struggling to maintain then that would easily explain the problems.

Failing that and assuming the CPU cooler is mounted correctly, have you looked at other aspects of airflow through the case?
- Has the PSU got enough clearance to vent properly.
- Are any of the fans dusty/clogged/stopped spinning.
- Is everything mounted to allow fans to pull cooler air in and push it out.
