i7 5820k ddr3 or ddr4?

Hello guys, I have a rather lazy question to ask.So pls bare with me as it might seem that I'm seeking the easy way without caring to look for myself.
I'm planning to acquire the i7 5820k soon and i was wondering does it come with ddr3 support as well or ddr4 only?I'm asking cuz I'm running on a tight budget. Thx in advance gents.

DDR 4 only. The enthusiast platforms of x99 only supports DDR 4 as the amount of pins require are different for the two ram types.

Thank you very much and as it might seem irrelevant to the purpose of this thread, can u tell me what is ur opinion about the crucial ballistix sport xt 8gb (2x4 kit) 2400mhz ram pls?Is it good enough.With the apparent news of needing ddr4 it's the only viable option for me for ram

I wouldnt worry to much about ram selection as the differences in performance are mostly unnoticeable. I only have one rule for selecting ram cards: if your mb supports it, get it.
