Okay, let me start out by saying: I'm not a crazy extreme LN2 overclocker, but I'm also not a novice.

So, I picked up a 5820k after my 4790k wasnt quite up to my multitasking/content creation tasks. My old chip had a 4.6 GHz overclock with a 1.26 core voltage. That was being cooled by an H100I and staying relatively cool maxing out at 75 degrees C under load. Now, here is my confusion: I currently have my 5820k overclocked to 4.4GHz at LESS than 1.2 volts (1.195 to be specific). Is that a crazy good clock/voltage combo for this chip or am I freaking out over nothing ? I have stability tested with OCCT for 4 hours and run 3DMark 4 or 5 times with no crashes. Temps max out at 65 on the hottest core!

You've won the lottery son. I can't get my 5820k stable past 4.4GHz with over 1.4v. Running it right now at 4.3GHz/1.3v and 57c Idle 78c Max and 65c Gaming/Streaming. I have a Cooler Master Case Pro 5 with 3 Jetflo120mm intake fans, 1 120mm Jetflo Exhuast fan and a 212 Evo with Arctic Silver Paste. Here are some photos. Taken with iPotato 4, so ya, shit quality.

Is the intel turbo boost on and stuff that could limit the chip?
