I know the 5820k isn't out yet, so give me the best answer you can, even if it is a rough guess/estimate please (none of this 'crystal ball' nonsense please)
1) How much will the 5820K cost in both the US and UK- if so, is it worth it over the 4790K?
2( how long will it last for gaming at 1080p before needing to upgrade when it becomes a severe bottleneck?
3) how much will DDR4 RAM cost?
4) How much will X99 Motherboards cost? ( rough price for entry-level and high-end x99 boards please)
5) Will i be able to take it upto 4GHz with the Hyper 212 Evo?
Thanks for the responses
Much appreciated

Solution
1. Most probably $400ish/ 260GBPish. I won't upgrade it over i7 4790k. Its an entry level i7 (hexa) Broadwell and i7 is a top notch haswell.
2. 10+ Years for severe bottleneck. You'll probably change your rig by then.
3. $250ish for 16GB, I may be wrong here.
4. Entry level= same as high end Z 97, $200ish. High end= extreme enthuaists Z97 level, $300ish.
5. Yes.

All prices for first 1 year within launch.

Prices are pretty much going to be the same as when X79 came out years ago.

I hope so :D

According to the rumors. The Pricing will be same as Sandy Bridge-E and Ivy Bridge-E. I would hope that if the i7 5820K is a hexa core, which it should be, that it will be the same price as the i7 4820K which is cheaper then the i7 4790K, i7 4790K and i7 3770K right now. Buying the X99 platform at release is going to be quite expensive. The DDR4 memory alone is going to be probably twice as much per GB as Most DDR3 kits now. But if price is no object then I suspect that the i7 5930K would be a better choice. I am waiting to see what the 5960X can do. 8/16 Cores/threads @ 3.0GHz. I hope to see some good numbers for overclocks.
