i7-5930K overclocking to stable 4GHz

Hello, I am new to overclocking and have a few questions.

What settings would you change to achieve 4GHz?

CPU Core Ratio:

How many FPS would you gain with 4/4.5GHz and a 980 Ti?

Ratio would be 40, as long as your bclk is at 100. As far as voltage, every chip is different so you'll have to play around. Try it with the stock voltage first and see if its stable. Make sure to stress test for awhile and watch your temps. What are you using for cooling?

Thanks for the info. Got the Corsair H100i GTX, think it suits any overclocking very well.

If the stock voltage doesn't work I have to increase it until I get good results in AIDA64 right?

Yea raise the voltage abit if its not stable. Also, don't use Aida. It's not very good. Use ibt, x264 test, or realbench. I've had the best luck with those.
