Hi folks,

My friend just bought Intel processor I7-5960x from Amazon and she wants to custom build it.

She asked me if I know what are the latest motherboards that could fit in and latest memory ram.

What Hard Drive is latest and excellent?

She wants to install a bad ass 128 giga ram of memory.

What brand should I recommend to her?

please tell me!

thanks

I am not sure, but she has a degree in graphics design. I will call her tomorrow morning and find out.

So she's probably looking for a high end workstation for 3D modeling and editing. Is there a set budget or is money not an object? Because if she has already purchased that cpu, in for a penny in for a pound, you might as well go all out. You could end up spending another 2000-2500$ USD easily. And that doesn't include peripherals.

We need information on budget and software to be used.

Hi, I talked to her on the phone early this morning, she was telling me her major use would be Adobe software for intensive video/image editing.

For the budget excluding the CPU, she said she wont spend more than 2000$.

She basically looking for a good computer with considerable budget.
