I7 620m looks like a quad core

Just wondering if anyone knows why my i7 620m Intel processor shows as 4 CPUS in task manager, and 4 CPUs in device manager, when it is a dual core processor ?

No its a dual core CPU.
It shows 4 cores because it has HT(Hyper Threading),a CPU with HT technology shows double the cores in windows task manager

It has Hyper threading, thus there are two physical cores and two additional logical cores which will show up in Windows task Manager.
