Hi Everyone,

I just installed rtx 2070. I have on bf 5 a 100%gpu usage which is good. But in fortnite my cpu is 50% and gpu 30% is it a bottleneck? If it is i'm going to upgrade my cpu.

SPECS:
RTX 2070 NVIDIA
16 gb ddr4 3000mhz
I7-6700
ASRock B150M-HDV
600WATT (gold)
Windows 10

If there are solutions to let my gpu get a higher usage and my cpu, Tell me.

Solution
I think the reason your not seeing full utilization on either the CPU or GPU is because of the game itself. Fortnite is a pretty easy game to run and your hardware is essentially overkill for it but using DSR should force a higher GPU usage and if you uncapped the FPS you'd probably see a higher CPU usage but then you'd probably experience screen tearing.

I run render distance epic, Textures and effect epic all the rest low. I am competitive so 1600x1080. I just did another test after changing a render setting in my NVIDIA control panel and it's 12% difference. The thing i don't get is why it van run 100% on bf 5 (no bottleneck)

While I hate the term, what you're describing here is not a "bottleneck" in the generally accepted sense.
A bottleneck would be if your CPU was pegged at 100%, and the GPU was running at 30% (for example).

What kind of FPS results are you seeing, out of curiosity?

Assuming the obvious; You don't have VSync enabled, and you haven't implemented a frame-rate cap in-game?

As for DSR:

Don't hate my for this, i get 144 FPS all the time (capped) but the reason i complain is because when i look into tilted i get 90 FPS. It feels like 120 and not 90 but still. Sorry for the term and is there a way to fix it? In NVIDIA settings?
