Hello,
recently I bought a new laptop and I saw my temps going really high. CPU had 95°C after 1 hour session of CS:GO. Today I bought cooling pad to reduce temps but after 1 and half hour session of CS:GO I had 93°C. Is it possible to solve this problem?

Specs : Lenovo Y700
i7 6700HQ
960M 4GB
16 GB ram
1920x1080

Thanks for any advice.

Solution
Most laptops are designed to run at that temperature. If you have instability or BSODs I'd try to do something about it, but this is pretty much normal behavior. Throttling doesn't happen until 100c.

As I said, I have that temps during CS:GO. When I browse the internet I have 35°C.

Ok thank you. :)

Hello there, this solution worked for me: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?89061-GL702VM...
I use Core Voltage Offset -0,130. But recomend you to try and fail untill you find the one that works perfectly for you: )
