Hello guys,

I7 6900k
Asus maximus viii alpha (updated to 3703)
H440 v2 case with stock fans connected to mobo running at full speed 100%.
3 fans at front suck whilst back fan exhausts.
H105 corsair cooler where radiator is on top nd it exhausts. (Water pump running 1800 rpm full. Fans using y splitter 140mm each connected to cpu fan running full speed)
16gb * 2 corsair 2400 ram, which is set to profile 1 on bios nd I pressed yes when it asked me about Intel stock something.
1080 gigbyte Nvidia founders edition.
I went into bios changed to XMP and pressed yes.
Next I put 47 for 4.7mhz.
Next I put manual and set core voltage to 1.35.
External digi+ LLC to level 6 ( or 5 )

I am running aida64 4.7mhz at 1.392 core voltage.

15 minutes have gone by.
Mobo temp is 27 max
Cpu max temp is 63 average 58
Cpu core 1 max is 84 average 66
2 is 81 average 64
3 is 77 average 59
4 is 75 average 58

Room temp is ambient. 18-22c

A re these safe temps or should is knock back the voltage? I am new to oc. So sorry if info lack and sorry it is an old build.
Thanks.

UPDATE 11.03.2018
I have knocked it back to 1.24 at 4.5mhz External digi+ LLC to level 6 with max temps CPU core going 65. Stress Test Aida64 for 8 hours, no crash.

I have lowered the voltage to 1.23 at 4.5mhz External digi+ LLC to level 6 , once again max temps CPU core one 65. Stess Tested.

At 1.23 core voltage is 1.264 at heavy 100% load. And jumps down to 1.248.
Do you guys reckon I should go on adaptive mode now?

Or should I test 1.22?

Thank you for your time.

13/03/18 UPDATE

I went back to 4.7mhz. When I play games (Like FFXV for 2 hours) max CPU CORE temp goes to 65. Then again my H440 Stock fans are running at full speed, along with my water pump and 2700RPM cooler fans + GPU fan at 95%.

It passed Realbench (latest version during this present time) for 15 minutes, however my bench mark score made me want to die, hence why I have given up on "oooh too much volt means too much temp" if it dies i'll feel apart of me has died (Which would be a good thing), and when PC parts go down, and when BITCOIN dies down, hopefully I'll be in a position to build a new rig.

I'll still be keeping a track of this thread in case someone can give me some optimal advice.(I have the google chrome extension).

Thanks in advance.

Well since it is a stress test reading , the temps are all good. The temperature in the real world would be lower than this. There fore your temperatures are all good.

It depends on silicon lottery.
Since every single cpu is different,
Some are very good and some are not that good compared to good ones. This means some cpu can overclock better than others. My i5 2500k can hit 4.7GHz with 1.25v that is quite low compared to there's.
