Looking to build a gaming/video editing PC with the i7 6700k Skylake. I want super high quality gaming and video editing along with photoshop (3d image creation)

I have a $1400 budget. That doesn't include the monitor or speakers, but it DOES include the OS. I already have 3 SATA drives from old PCs totaling around 3.5TB. SSD for a boot drive is what I have planned. Other than that, show me what you guys would think is best.

gtx 970 is great for 1080p, and the PSU has room for SLI in the future when it isn't as good any more. the samsung 950 Pro is about the best SSD on the market right now (except the intel 750 which goes for twice as much).

another alternative that is heavier on the GPU but a bit lacking in other areas. also better for much higher resolution and can even handle some 4K gaming
