My i7 6700k OC @4,5GHZ @1,265V
and my computer run 24/7 and no blue screen happen!

my cpu usage is always 100% because i used VMWARE while playing games

after one month of overlock i never experience blue screen or pc crash or lag.

my question
my overclock is stable and my voltage is safe?

next question
my cpu lifespan can reduce?

my cpu temp max 77c

Solution

it may shorten the life span, but its not that significant, i have had this 3570k since it was born, overclocked it the first week i had it :D
Hi,

First of all:
You have overclocked your CPU and not have any control over its temperature?
That is a big issue right there,
my cpu lifespan can reduce?
Of corce it will!. Its life span will reduce! It's a matter of fact that the life span of the processor will go down in a significant curve with over voltage and temperature!

Best regards from Sweden

Solution

Ok. From the start.
All electronics no matter what will shorten its life span on over voltage. Th is no question at all!
Why? Not only the solder joints are capable of handle the electron, right the there is a problem.

The more current, the more so called intermetalic build up, and at the end - no electronics can work - with today's technology.

The higher the speed a of frequencies and voltage, the steeper is is the curve to go down. That is just a fact.
It has with the ions to do. I will tear materials apart, eventually.
