i7 6700k OC :)

I bought an I7 6700k and overclocked it to 4.5GHz and I set the Vcore to 1.35.

If i set the i7 6700k to 4.5GHz does it mean when IDLE it will still on the 4.5GHz?
and btw i set my Vcore to 1.35 no adaptive2 thingy, is 1.35 vcore ok in everyday use?

What are your temps like? What cooler are you using? Have you run any stress tests? 1.35 is the max safe voltage providing your cooling is good.

well i have CM SEIDON 120V and the temps is good i believe below 70C i think. I'm running stable no stability issues yet. I just want to know if it's running 4.6GHz when in IDLE? or does it mean when you overclock the CPU (which is mine is running @4.6GHz) does it mean it stays 4.6GHz even when in IDLE? Tnx in advance

If you set the voltage to fixed mode then yes it'll stay at 4.6ghz even at idle. You really should run some stress tests to make sure your overclock is stable.
