Hello
I would like to ask if its worth it to wait for the e series processors of skylake and lga 2017 or i should simply go for the 1151 socket i will have to buy ddr4 anyway
Parts i would reuse in the skylake build gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gaming xfx pro edition xxx 850w (i also have a computer case but i dont know what kind of)
Now i use the a10-6800k its great and very fast but overheats with the artic freezer 13 and kolink 4g thermal paste
http://hutopaszta.arukereso.hu/kolink/4g-p278131035/
i applied everything correctly and still i cant understand why so i will just change it
if i turn off the igpu of the a10-6800k it stays around 72C stock speed under load so i can use it (33-37C idle)
Its goes above 80c with the igpu enabled
The i7 6700k looked great on benchmarks so if i buy in the summer i would buy that
But the i7 4790k and i7 5820k are close in price so i expect skylake e to have a processor with similar price as the i7 6700k
I never miss out on overclocking the main use is gaming web browsing movie watching
The resolution is 900p i will buy 16gb ddr4 and asus rog or msi gaming for the mobo
Thanks for reading my thread and helping me
