I have a new 6700k on my msi z270 sli pro. Im trying to push it to 4.8 and do some cinnabench scores, but it doesnt even show me my overclock in the bios. It says 'intel core i7 6700k @ 4.00GHz 1.45v' cinnabench says 4.01 and cpuz says 4.5

After doing some research i feel like I'm the only one to have this issue. If it if it involves reseating the cpu ill pass. Im out of thermal compound.

No, I don't think you'll have to reseat the CPU this time. Is there a BIOS update for your motherboard? If so you might want to try and update it since it could be an issue with your BIOS version.

Cinnebench can be a bit glitchy, it shows my quad core as a dual core, as long as BIOS CPUZ and Task Manager show that it runs at your overclock you should be fine.
