My i7-6700k started running realy hot, I've allready tryed re-applying thermalpaste(I'm Thermal grizzly Kryonaut). When I run system srability test, the CPU hits 100°C and throttles. I'm using Corsair H110iGTX for colling. Is it possible that there is something wrong with CUP or motherboard(ASUS Maximus HERO VIII)?

Build is from March 2016.
Yes, I think that when I tested it brand new I could even run in overclocked, on 4.5Ghz and the temps were around 60°C to ~ 70°C.

When I'm monitoring the temps, looks like the AIO is working fine. I'm runing everything on max(pump and fans),otherwise the water heats up to 50°C, but on max it stays around 35°C-40°C.

Definitely check the voltage on the CPU.
That said, the cooler probably shouldn't be heating up to 50C. How long does it take for this to happen? What's your ambient temperature? And does this happen on a CPU-only load or a mixed CPU/GPU load?

I'm only strestesting the CUP, I bought the Be quiet! Dark rock 4 now, and will try with that.. It took like 1 minute to heat up to 40c.
Voltages are set to deafult.

What's your ambient temperature?
If it's anything like a normal room temperature (20-25C), the coolant is warming up way too fast, regardless of voltage. That's indicative of a pump failure and/or partial blockage.
That 110i GTX is powered by SATA, correct?

So the problem was in the water cooling, the air got in the loop over the time because of high temperatures etc. and water didn't go through the radiator so it didn't cool okay.
Now when I'm getting max 60°C on AIDA64 stress test.
Thank you all!
