i7 6700K problems

Hello everyone, yesterday I installed a 1Tb Samsung 850 Evo ssd and did a full clean install of windows 10 home,

everything seemed fine till I started to download a game and that's when I noticed all my ram was being eaten up by everything (16gb 2x8).

What I did was install windows, G Force Experience, Samsung Magician (to put it in RAPID mode), Steam/Origin,

it even used 24% - 60% CPU (i7-6700K) from just downloading...

Everything was fine till I installed the ssd and removed the old one.

Also normally I can have two games open easy, I had World of Warcraft opened while in a login queue and opened Black Ops 3 and the CPU went to 99% and the pc crashed.

when I reinstalled windows on a new ssd was I meant to download cpu/motherboard drivers?

after you installed windows 10 did you install the chipset drivers? also did you make sure you installed the 64-bit version and not the 32-bit version of windows

Hello and thanks for your reply, I installed the 64bit windows 10 but I installed a chipset driver from the msi cd, would that be the problem?

it shouldn't be, but i would check the MSI or intel website for updated chipset drivers
