So, When playing GTA V online i am getting max 54 degrees on the core. Whn stresstesting with prime95 version 26,6 i am getting max 56 degrees. Is this normal for a stock i7 6700k? (4,2GHz) I have also set the voltage to 1.200V instead of 1.264V

Ok:) I am going to try overclocking her to 4,6 maybe in a couple of days. What should the temps be with 4,6 ghz? And by the way, how do i overclock? Do i set up the voltage and cpu mhz and then i am ready to go?

Google 'How to overclock 6700k' There should be multiple results read more than one Guide.
How I overclock, is max overclock for stock voltages. For my 2600k I overclocked to 4.5Ghz stock volts.
I was satisfied with 4.5 so I even undervolted it by .015 step.

Thats the safest way to do it.

That's about the same as I have (NH-U14S). You seem to have a good chip, mine is awesome also. 1.230V on the core @4.6GHz. Doesn't get above 60 ever. During most games, the CPU utilization is so low it stays a lukewarm 30C.

This thing is a beast.
