No OC on the cpu. Just playing borderlands 2 and i turned on MSI afterburner to check things out and it shows 60-70C temperatures while in game. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!
Acceptable? One guy said his 6700k didn't go higher than 35 under load in games. BTW, i'm looking at HWmonitor and the temps in idle state fluctuate between 35 to 50, but mainly stay at 35-37.

That guy is Intel? Just calm down, that are a good temperatures. Which thermal paste did you used?

That guy was Kenny_32. And he was using a noctua nh d15, which didn't go beyond 23C idle.
Sounds like it is probably an issue with the thermal paste application. I would try to take the cooler off and re paste it if you have any thermal compound lying around...
That way a better cooler than the evo 212, for start. Again: Your temperatures are good, but, if you want to improve it, try upgrading/reapply/replacing with another thermal paste. (Example: My i5 4690 doesn't reach 50°C on gaming in winter, on summer, i get 55°c with the evo 212). -note: i live in Argentina so-
For that guy to get those temps idle his room has to me in the low 70's to upper 60's, 23*c is 73.4*f. there is no way an air cooler can be below ambient temps with normal use.
If your room temps are already warm then your going to have even warmer cpu temps.
I have 2 case fans that came with phanteks eclipse p400. Both seem to work fine, the 212 evo seems to work. Could it really be that the thermal paste i bought 6 months ago didn`t even last a year.
But this is MEA, for some reason, Borderlands 2, a much older and much less demanding game boost the temperature to 70-80C. AAAA, WHAT DID I DO WRONG TO THIS WORLD
