I7 6700vs8700 build

I'm building my new PC. I have a Dell Xps 8900 with an i7-6700. I was wondering instead of using the 6700, I can sell the dell pc and get me a i7-8700. Upgraded specs from the 8700 and now i  can now use a z370 board. I don't mind using the 6700 but would like to have this build for awhile. My question would be is it worth the upgrade with advantages of upgraded performance and be able to use the z370 boards.  Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

 

P.S. I'm using 16gb of memory that was used in the dell XPS until ram prices drop hopefully in 2019. I'm pretty sure it would work with a z370?

I'd keep the 6700 and move everything into the H500 although I'd pass on the AIO, it's quite expensive and not needed. If you want to make the build flashy put in 4-LED or RGB fans (Thermaltake Riing 120 LED's are quite nice) then grab a decent CPU air cooler and put RGB/LED fans on it.

I like the how minimal the aio is and with rgb. Lol air college are so bi. Which i understand they need to be. But do you have any in mind that have good cooling and have a decent look. Thanks.
