i7 6800K 2 cores 100% usage other 10-20% only

Whatever game I'm playing my core 9 and core 11 are always 100% usage and all other are only 10-20%. Is this normal?

depends which games you're playing
if it's a game that only uses one or two cores heavily (as many do) this would be normal behaviour

I see that problem in both League of Legends and Crysis 3. I'm gonna test The Witcher 3, Battlefield 4 and GTA V and gonna share the results.

in gaming most commands to the CPU can't be handled simultaneously as they depend on one another
therefore 1 or 2 threads get stressed while the others just sit around

it's not a "problem" as much as processor design
when converting or editing large video files, you'll see all your cores running full load

When i tried testing Battlefield 4 crashed after a minute of gameplay and the witcher 3 crashes at startup. What is going on?

I also see black bars flashing on my screen when I start or exit a game. Could it be GPU related?

Full PC spec please? And are you running the latest gpu and motherboard drivers?

It seems the black bars were caused by the VGA cable or the monitor i was running on. I just connected my PC to my other monitor which supports DVI with Dual-Link and the black bars are gone. The crashes are possibly caused by MSI Afterburner although I didn't overclock my GPU. If I first close MSI Afterburner and then start a game, the game doesn't crash. I have installed the GPU and mobo drivers. Here's full specs:

Radeon R9 270X (I know it sucks, I plan to upgrade soon, also this GPU doesn't support UEFI boot so I have CSM enabled in BIOS)
