So I'm looking to buy this Aorus X7 V6 http://www.aorus.com/Product/Features/X7%20v6.
Now the Aorus website still listed it as having the 6820hk, however I read that they're gonna update it soon with the 7820hk. Now I know that it's basically the same chip architecture-wise and the only difference on paper is the +300mhz core clock, but if the desktop chips are anything to go by, the 7700k can overclock way higher than 6700k on the same thermal output. The 6820hk can reach a stable overclock from 4 - 4.2ghz, So basically if anyone already get their hands on the 7820hk, would really appreciate if you can let me know what the max stable OC is, and whether it's worth waiting few weeks or months to get one instead of the 6820hk. Thx!
And before a lot of people say 'you won't notice the difference', the laptop has 120hz panel and I'll overclock it to 144hz, and as you know CPU is very taxed when rendering at those frame rates.
