Also, we don't have pricing or other details but AMD is launching an 8-core Zen CPU in the near future which MAY be a far better deal. Summit Ridge will be AM4 and 14nm (there is an AM3 part coming that you won't want). Take this with a grain of salt: http://techfrag.com/2016/05/24/amd-zen-summit-ridge-twice-fast-fx-8350-par-intel-i7-5960x-extreme/ If they charged $600 they might still undercut Intel for $500 but again I have almost NO official specs.
