Just make sure the connection is sufficient for your needs.
Also, we don't have pricing or other details but AMD is launching an 8-core Zen CPU in the near future which MAY be a far better deal.
Summit Ridge will be AM4 and 14nm (there is an AM3 part coming that you won't want).
