I7-720qm versus 17-820qm

New to this community. I am looking to buy a laptop for trading stocks. I will not be using it for gaming or media. I have been looking at the
i7-720qm and i7-820qm chips and which chip is best. I am not sure if these chips are more than what I need. I plan on 8gb of RAM and a 256gb SSD. Thanks for any help that you all can provide.

For trading stock, either will be more than enough. In fact 8gb of RAM, a 256gb SSD, and an i7 is massive overkill for stocks.

For your purposes I don't see the point of going core i7. Or the point of the 8GB of ram. I would think your internet connection would be far more important? I guess I can see the SSD coming in handy.

As I said in the other thread, this would be overkill and a waste of money. I agree that the internet connection is the most important for day trading. I personally can't see why an SSD would even be necessary. Trading online just does not depend on the speed of your computer that much.
