i7 7500U vs i5 7200U everything else is same

So I am buying a laptop on Amazon and there is the Acer Aspire E15's with either an i5 7200U or i7 7500U. They both have GTX 940MX graphics and 8GBs of DDR4 with a 256GB m.2 boot Drive with an empty 2.5inch bay. My question is, which CPU will be better.

The i5 is $589AU and the i7 is $699AU. Is the i7 worth it? I will do light gaming like TF2, World of Tanks but I will mostly do browsing with millions of tabs open on chrome.

Any help is appreciated

It's worth it if you need 2 extra cores. For most gaming 4 cores are quite enough and for rest you are doing even 2 cores are enough.

They have the same amount of cores which is 2c/4t

One has a higher clock speed
