Question i7 7700 doesn't game

so i just replaced my cpu and mobo and when i open a game cpu usage jumps up to 100% and i get around 10 fps can anyone help. my gpu is a 1050 ti and cpu is a i7 7700 and my mobo is a gigabite B250M DS3H i have not installed any new software after the replacement.

It's recommended to reinstall Windows after a motherboard change to prevent driver issues with different chipsets.

It may fix the issue or it may not, but it's hard to tell when you've cut a major corner.
