i7 7700 + gtx 1060 or i5 7500 + gtx 1070

I am going to buy a gaming pc and I want to be able to play games like GTAV and Far Cry 4 (1080p).
Should I buy the i7 7700 + gtx 1060 or the i5 7500 + gtx 1070?

Always get the build with a better gpu. With how cpus progressed almost any modern one is good enough for games.

The games you wanna play stress GPU, You will be needed better GPU, In that case 1070. And CPU side, many cores won't be stressed after all. That's why second option would be optimal in price and in gaming side. Good luck!

The build with 1070 is better choice for gaming as i5 gets the job done.

I would get the K series processor with a Z270 board. You might not plan on overclocking now but the ability to do so in the future can get you another couple years out of the PC before you need to upgrade again. 4 or so years down the road wen your processor is not up to the newer games then just overclock it up and your performance is right back where it needs to be. The GTX 1060 will run those games just fine at 1080p and the i7 should last longer before upgrading it again.
With the way video cards progress each year you will need a new card in 2 or 3 years anyhow.
