Hello. I have legion Y720 laptop. When I start pc or browsing in internet my CPU speed around: 3.4-3.6GHz. When I start a game after short time my CPu lock speed at 2.68GHz...
What I need to do to raise my CPu speed while I`m playing video games? ;(

After I close the game cpu backs to 3.4-3.6Ghz speed.

Can you post what the cpu temp is after running the game? because I don't want to run that. But I think the problem maybe the temp is too high so that the cpu will run at the low frequency, because the thermal throtting when the cpu is overheat.

If it is the overheats, buy the laptop cooler and clean up the laptop fan in most easy way, or reapply thermal paste for the cpu.
