so i just recently upgraded my cpu cooler from h80i gt to egva clc 2080

The reason i upgraded it is because i was getting BSOD
Clock watchdog so i was thinking may be my computer was over heating. Since sometimes while playing game it would just stop. (Freeze) and i cant do anything but reset it. Anyway i was wondering if my temp is fine or should have been better.

10 mins stress test using aida64

75 max

I havent play games with the new cooler yet so i dont know if i would get a bsod again or it would froze up again.

P.S thermal paste is "arctic silver 5"

Under 80C during stress testing is good so you shouldn't get BSOD or shutdowns due to overheating. Try gaming again, if it does display a BSOD then take a picture of the error and upload it here so we can further assist you. If the CPU is overclocked revert it back to stock for now.
Your CPU won’t throttle or shutdown until it gets upwards of 90c. I have the same cpu @ 4.7ghz on air and I’ll spike to the low 80’s with a good load.

Coincidentally I was running into the same error just a few days ago. It’s usually caused by driver errors. Mine was most likely caused by using my boot drive on new Ryzen based PC’s I’ve built recently. This causes windows to install unnecessary drivers.

I’d try uninstalling all graphics and device drivers and then running DDU. If this doesn’t solve your issue a clean windows install cleared it up completely for me.

Ok we'll i havent really done any games on the new cooler yet but ive been running some stress test. Right now im running

Prime 95 2.6.6

Blend

So far after 2-3 mins one of the core went to 87.

Idk if my cooler is doing just fine or my cpu is really getting hot

Last time i had a BSOD with my old cooler was

CLOCK WATCHDOG

But ill get back to you guys after couple of hours of playing.
