I7 7700k help

Im trying to get 5ghz over clock on my chip. Im on an asus maximus ix formula. I left everything at deafults and changed the following. Dram xmp(3200) avx -2 , sync all cores, memory mode 2, LLC level 5, cpu core cach V 255.50 and So far it will only boot into windows if I set the manual voltage to 1.35v but trying to run prime95 (26.6) will blue screen my PC and I am forced to turn of the system from the PSU switch. Otherwise no display is shown when pressing power button or reset button. I previously tried an over clock of 4.7ghz on 1.29 V and LLC level 2 and I ran prime95 for 30 mins with no errors or warnings and temps were 80max under HWM.. My chip is not dlided and I'm using a NZXT krakenx52 cooler. Not sure what to do. Any advice would be great.

Not sure how that is relivent to my question since he is not using a 7700k to begin with.

Probably is not a good answer. Im not sure how you can think to compare them since there completely different generation to begin with...I will wait for a better response.

They really arent all that dissimilar as you make them out to be.
Im not very surprised you cant hit 5GHz on a 7700k.

Well I haven't tried to go higher then 1.35 v on manual yet. Cuz I don't want to risk breaking my computer. First time doing anything on 1.3v and I'm no expert. Also want to make sure before i try to up the voltage the reason for crshings is not to do with an incorrect setting in my bios. Iv over clocked before but not on this chip or bios And its been a while since I attempted an overclock since my last system which was a z777mb and an i5 3570k.

Assuming youve got the cooling and motherboard to back it, up to 1.4v should be "safe".
Though, if youre hitting 80C at 4.7, doubt youll make it.
