i7-7700k is hitting high temps

Hey guys!

My i7 is hitting insane temps in idle & gaming when my Processor status (NOT LOAD!) is at 100%

My cooler is the Poseidon 240v from Coolermaster.
So it can't be my cooler right?

What are your temps under load? 75C is fine under load. What is your ambient temps?

I could not read the first picture cause it is not in English. But it looks like you are running in performance mode where your chip is running 100%.

If you google 7700k and high temps you'd see a million threads with this same concern. This cpu runs hot, and 75C seems pretty average even with some of the better coolers out there installed. It just runs hot. I think this is just a surprise to most because AMD is usually the famously hot running processor and the 7700K series is probably the first intel processor that runs hot consistently but that's totally normal.

Your temps are the same as mine, except I'm using the Cryorig H7. I would expect you to get better results than me, but I can't say for sure.
