i7-7700K on Z170 board

Hi I wanna know how the new i7-7700K will perform on my motherboard I have Z170 Maximus VIII Ranger which support the new CPU is there any cons running the 7700K on my board or the Z270 boards will run it better ??

Make sure that the BIOS on your motherboard has been updated to a version that will support Kaby lake before you install the 7700K.

It will run the same, you just don't get the new z270 chipset feature.
