So basically ive heard a lot from a friend that AMD is now way better and cheaper than Intel. I've been wondering if i can go with AMD Ryzen 5 3600x but i dont if i should go for the i7 7700k which is more pricey and if i choose the ryzen i dont know if my mother card is compatible (MSI H110M GAMING) nor my other hardware. I would like an opinion which one is worth and if you could help me to choose a mother board that goes with my hardware:

-Intel Core i3-7100
-Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB
-OCZ Trion 100 120GB
-WD Green 500GB
-Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB
-Kingston KHX2133C14D4/8G 2x

-MotherBoard - - -> MSI H110M GAMING

Solution
Yes it is possible for under $400
1)Ryzen 3600 + one of Msi's MAX motherboards: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#m=27&sort=price&page=1
Problem is, supply is having trouble keeping up with demand, so you may have trouble getting ahold of one. The Msi B450 MAX models are Ryzen 3000 compatible out of the box.
The other vendors have similar offers, they just didn't use a simple naming scheme like 'MAX'... it would take some time to read through the lists of boards that can do the above.

2)Ryzen 3600 + any B450 mobo that specifically carries a bios flashback feature. Most of these are also Msi. The other vendors added them to their more expensive mobos.

3)Ryzen 3600 + X570. There are some X570s that are both affordable...

Although the 7700k should work in your current board, you can't overclock it. It can cost $200-250 used and up to or over $300 new, plus $80-130 for a used or new Z170/270 board to overclock it. The 7700k is just not a good investment over even a 9600k. A Ryzen 5 3600 is $200, has 6cores 12 threads and can be overclocked on any B or X series socket AM4 motherboard (that has been flashed with the newest bios.)

Is it possible to buy the AMD and get a new board that is under 400$. Because im a bit out of budget for more seeing as i compared the stuff you offered. I would understand you if you strungle to do that request but if you dont find anything i might try to buy AM4 mb.

Current monitor?

1)If you've already got a 7xxx cpu in an H110, then the 7700k will also work.
2)Ignore the 3600X. It costs more, and all it offers over the non-X version is a friggin' LETTER!
3)Make and model of current power supply?
  1. rn i have the i3 on my pc
  2. i actually ment the 3600 without the x i was just sleepy and wanted it done i dont know wtf i was thinking
  3. be quiet! system power b8 - 550W

I believe the first section of this video applies to you - and maybe the 2nd, but it's pushing it on price - if you're not interested in X570, it's fine to skip it. It doesn't offer a whole lot anyways.

Your memory is very slow for DDR4, but will work with the new hardware. You may want to get a DDR4 3200 2x8GB kit for around $75-95 with CL16 timings. I would go for a B450 over X470/X570 to save money or wait until the B550 is released in the next 1-2 month.|

Edit - This MSI board would probably be your best option for a good board with good overclocking potential MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX

Oh yeah totally get the 3600 or if you want to save money for a around a 20-25% drop in performance get the $120 Ryzen 5 2600. Either would be a huge increase in performance over an i3-7100.

Edit - I should also mention that you don't have to worry about the MSI MAX boards or others specifically ready for Ryzen 3000 if you got a Ryzen 5 2600 and you can upgrade to a Ryzen 4000 next year if you need to. All you need to do is flash the bios for the new series when it's released.

Phaaze88 its totally my bad dude its just that i tried conversing the US dollars in LEVA which is my currency and i didnt use a calculator i just used my small brain and i thought its more than 400$ 😑😑😑. Its totally my mistake bro.

btw is the B450 better then my current one and is it a more viable choice than the x570

The x570 is gonna be $50-100 more compared to a B450 board. The real issue here though, is will any of these parts fit in your budget when you consider that most European customers pay more for PC parts than in the US. You would likely be fine getting the Ryzen 5 2600 with a b450 board and reuse your ram if it's under your budget.

The 7700K is way overpriced these days...

3600 every day.

In fact, you could likely get a 3600 and a mainboard and have $10 left over for the cost of a 7700K...(and the 7700K would need a $50-$100 cooler as well, because whatever cooler is on the 7100 is not going to cut it)

No big deal.

I was trying to let you know that ALL 3 OPTIONS were possible under $400USD.
Ryzen 3600 + X570 would be the most expensive of the 3, and the chipset doesn't really offer anything over B450.

Your current motherboard isn't compatible with Ryzen, so that's out. B450 is plenty fine over X570 too, you just need to pick a specific board, as I mentioned earlier. In descending order:
-Msi's B450 MAX motherboards.
-Any B450 with included bios flashback feature. This allows you to update the bios without the requirement of an older Ryzen cpu.
-X570

DDR3 is not compatible with the motherboard you picked. I don't even think there is an AMD board that supports DDR3 with socket AM4.
