i7 7700k ram question

Solution
The 7700k should work perfectly fine with that RAM. I'd recommend a slightly lower speed RAM kit: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qjM323/gskill-trident-z-rgb-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr3-3000-memory-f4-3000c16d-16gtzr. I don't think the extra $30-40 is worth the minor gains in speed.

Memory compatibility depends mainly on motherboard not CPU. Open your motherboard webpage and see their approved memory list. Although sometimes other memories work fine but not tested by the motherboard vendor.
