I7 7700k running hot I beleive

So I have built a new pc for gaming I'm running
I7 7700k
Asus z270e
Asus gtx 1080 ti
H110i water cooler

I'm getting temps in 80-90c and my pc will freeze or crash games on me was just looking for some help please!!!!
 
Solution
I've seen this mentioned before that voltage close to 1.4v will applied when running CPU at stock speed with default AUTO voltage setting in UEFI. It seems to affect certain motherboards, though I can't say for sure without some research.

I believe you havent overclocked your CPU, then these temperature is very high. Make sure u have mounted your cooler properly, make sure pump is working. Also what software do u use to monitor temperature? Use HWmonitor, check your vcore voltage.

Your voltage is too high... People overclock cpu to 5GHZ at this voltage... Are you sure u didnt do anything in Bios? Or did u use any auto tune software like asus aisuite?

1st off see if there are any bios updates and update.

If there are any updates check the temps and voltage again after.

If no updates remount your cooler with new thermal paste.
