I7 7700k with z170a motherboard

I installed a new i7 7700k and updated my bios but when i boot my computer it starts up fine but ends up crashing anytime i try and do anything with it any odea what could be causing this issue.

do you have a make and model for that z170 board?
do you have the previous CPU before update for that board ?
if yes, have you tried swapping cpu to older one to see if it boots properly?
