Good afternoon
Just i bought an i7 7700k as an upgrade and won't start windows.
-Motherboard Asus b250-a ( updated last firmware)
Previous Cpu: i5 6500

Hdmi direct to mobo. I can see bios screen and change parameters, but after BIOS computer reboot alltime.
Temperature of chip is ok. Got an aftermarket cooler.
Im thinking to format from usb new windows, but im not sure if maybe the problem come from this mobo.
Thank you

you may want to check the version of bios supports the 7700K (0308 and up) , if not revert to your old CPU and update.

you may also need to disable XMP and retest that your board boots at base freq
xmp is disable. Mobo is updated. Just i double check trying to updte in asus bios menu.
Im gonna have a look 0308 version, but if mobo is updated to 1205v... Double checked in asus and this motherboard can use with i7 7700k

I flashed 2001 version form usb using Uefi bios flash ( i7 7700k) wont boot windows. I put back the i5 6500, and i got this report in GPUZ: https://postimg.cc/grJBM9nV
Im not sure why i cant boot windows with de i7. I readed another guys using b250m-a with i7 77700k
Should i try to format new Windows from iso USB with de i7 7700k on? Cheers
