Question I7 8086K + RTX 2080 Ti Custom Loop Temps good?

Hey Lads,

Just built my first hardline custom loop and wondering if the temps I’m getting are about right for the components involved.

I’ve got an i7 8086K (Delidded) OC’d to 5ghz @ 1.28v w/ no AVX offset.

GPU is a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Waterforce edition with the custom water block and the only settings I’ve touched are maxing power limit and temp sliders for that.

The loop consists of EK D5 Pump, 1x 360x45 Rad and 1x 240x45 Rad. All components are EK besides the GPU Block.

The tower is the Cougar conquer case and the fans are all Corsair ML120 fans with the front 240 rads fans set to pull and the top 360 rads fans set to push.

On a Prime95 Small fft test over the course of an hour my max temp is 67° and while gaming over the course of a few hours CPU sits around 60° and GPU is around 54-55°.

I was quite stoked with those temps but was wondering if you more experienced loop builders could weigh in on those temps for me.

I’m in Melbourne, Australia. Ambient temps are around 22-23° and the games I was testing the system with were the division 2, BF5 and Rage 2. I also forgot to mention I run the pump at 45% and the fans at around 600 RPM while gaming

Turns out I’d actually switched off hyper threading 😅 Turned it back on and the temps are between 70-72 with Prime and around the same while gaming.

I’ve got the Aorus Z390 Pro Wifi and the MCE on that is garbage haha, 5ghz at 1.4v so I’ve set my OC manually.

I’m considering pushing it for 5.2... I’ve heard these chips can do it
 
I'm not very experienced but that's high. two separate loops you should be topping 50 on the CPU and with virtually no overclock on the gpu you should be around the same. All fans should be pushing. Up out of the case or out the back. Do you have any airflow into the case? Have you considered a bigger reservoir?

It’s not two seperate loops it’s one pump for CPU and GPU.

I’ve got the fans on my 240mm rad pulling air in and the fans on my top 360mm rad pushing outward through the rad. The Cougar Conquer case is an open air case so that’s about as many fans as I can fit.

The reservoir seems to do the damage as my flow rate is pretty decent at around 40-50%

GPU also holds close to 2100mhz also with just the power and temp sliders maxed.

Also I should’ve been clearer, I meant the temps are around the same as when I accidentally had hyper threading off. So around 60° for CPU and 54-55° still for the GPU
