i7 870 Cooler

I am looking at two different coolers for my i7 870 as my current one is not cutting it. The one I am interested in is this(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103195). I was wondering what the big difference is between the 120V and the 120XL.

I am also worried about having the slots to power this new cooler. Will the 120V/120XL use just the pins on the motherboard, or will I need an additional power connection on top of the ones on the motherboard.

It looks like the biggest differences is that the XL has two fans.
You will only need the CPU and COP_OPT fan headers on the motherboard. No extra power connections are necessary
