Computer Specs:
Processor: i7-8700k CPU @ 3.70 GHZ
Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 Liquid Cooler
Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
RAM: G-Skill Trident 2x8GB 3200Mhz

Processor continues to overheat at temperatures greater than 180 degrees F when playing graphic intense games (Assassins Creed, Destiny 2, Rainbow 6, etc...).

The contact between the Liquid Cooler and CPU appears to be clean with a good thermal paste covering.

There are no alerts from the NZXT CAM Application to indicate what the problem may be.

CPUz indicates core voltage is at 1.376 V. IT also indicates all 6 cores and 12 threads are active.

Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

180°F is 82°C, while not ideal its still well below the cpus 100°C throttling point. You should check your bios settings as it sounds like a lower thermal shutdown temp has been selected and other settings may not be ideal either.
That 1.37v is rather high for stock. At stock I haven't seen mine go over 1.18v. I've been able to get 5Ghz on 1.28v on my 8700k using a Cryorig R1.
