i am planning to use a good looking air cooler for my i7 8700k using a strix z370-e or gigabyte z370 aorus 5, what should i use? I also wanna overclock it, what cooler can get me temps lower than 65-70 degrees on like 4.2 ghz? my budget for mobo is not over 200 and for cooler, it is not over 90 will i need to increase voltage?

Solution
i run a R1 ultimate, replaced the front fan to a slim to clear the ram so its a universal now. at stock speeds on my 8700k its doing 30*c with 2 cores topping out at 49*c the other cores are high 30's low 40's. I have OC's all cores to 5.1Ghz with a max temp of just over 80*c.

The Z370 strix would likely look pretty good with something like a cryorig H7.

4.2ghz? The 8700k will boost to 4.7ghz stock. If you want to OC past 4.7ghz on all cores you will likely have to increase voltage a bit depending on what that mobo sets stock for vcore voltage. An H7 would likely keep the cpu in the 70s under full load at stock clocks, hotter with an OC depending on how much you need to increase the voltage. If you want better temps than that you will likely need a big dual tower air cooler like the NH-D15 or something.

The cryorig R1 is another choice. Just google dual tower air cooler, there are quite a few options out there.
