Hello everybody. I would appreciate your help since I am currently very confused.

I have just bought Z270 Tomahawk MSI motherboard and 8th gen. i7-8700k processor. (Sockets are LGA 1151 for both CPU and motherboard) Sockets are compatible and everything else, but on the motherboard description it says that it supports only 7th and 6th gen Intel processors.
My questuion is will it be compatible with 8th gen i7?

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Will do. Just one more queestion. I also have MSI GTX 1070 GPU, and with the new (that would be exchanged motherboard) to support i7 8th gen, the question is will 600W PSU be enough to run the system?

My PSU is CHIEFTEC 600W (CTG-600-80P) On my current system it worked flawlessly; Motherboard AsRock Z77-Pro4, i5-3350P 3.10Ghz, MSI GTX 1070 AERO. No fancy water coolers or LED lights around.

New configuration would be MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC motherboard, which would support 8th gen i7-8700k, MSI GTX 1070 Aero, RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x 8GB).
