So i don t have much experience when it comes to overclocking...i know it isn t that big a deal especially for experinced people but i have a high end processor and i d like to know a few things. So i read that this guy(I7 8700k) turbos up to 4.7 GHz....whatever that means...i did some research and i found out that the max stock clock can be reached on only one core and you don t have to "enable" it. I also read this comment on a OC ing video about this specific cpu that said that :

Enableing "Multi-core Enhancement" in BIOS will give me a automatic clock boost to 4.7 GHz (This is exactly the cloxk speed i want!)

And also that Turbo boost will give me a clock of 4.7 Ghz on one of the cores when under load( This kida lines up with what i ve read also cuz he didn t mention anything about enableing the turbo mode)

I would like to know some of ur opinions and yeah... ty <3

So I suggest running the CPU overclocked and analyze temperatures on your PC. This will tell you if you need more air cooling or if you need to switch to liquid cooling.
