I have my 8700k oc to 5 ghz but im getting low scores on cinebench. My temps do get really high like mid 80c when at 100% load am i thermal throttling or is my oc bad

List your full system specs and some screenshots of HWmonitor stats if possible.
On the side note, 5.0 ghz is quite average on the 8700k so if you get a middle score that is not a bad sign dw.

Mid 80's (C) is a bit too warm for comfort, what voltage are you using?

i have around 1745 with my 8086k at 5.2 Ghz/5Ghz Cache and 230 Single Core.

mid 80s won't throttle at all.

What's your Voltage and Mainboard?
